约瑟夫·C. Gathe小. '78, M.D
约瑟夫·C. Gathe小. '78, M.D., is a board-certified infectious disease specialist who has been in private practice serving Houston, the community where he was born and raised, 自1986年以来. While Gathe has expertise in a wide range of infectious-disease problems, he particularly focuses on those living with HIV. Early in the pandemic, he opened and co-directed one of the largest HIV care units in the world. Gathe advised the Clinton White House on AIDS policy and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by President Biden, J.D.
Gathe graduated from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory as the second-ranked academic student and was recognized with top honors in both science and foreign language. He graduated from 赌博娱乐平台网址大全 in three years summa cum laude and was awarded the presidential scholarship every year for maintaining a 4.0 grade point average.
Gathe went on to receive his medical doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine with honors in 1981. During medical school, he was the recipient of the Alpha Omega Honor Society Award and was recognized as a Henri J. Kaiser Merit Scholar. Gathe completed an internship and residency program at Baylor College of Medicine and was recognized over that period of time as the Most Outstanding Resident in Internal Medicine.
Prior to his fellowship training in infectious diseases at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Gathe was appointed as the first African-American chief resident at St. Luke’s Hospital in 1984. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, a fellow for the American College of Physicians, and a fellow for the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

President 丹尼 Nguyen serves as the SGA president for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 terms. 丹尼 is a senior from 圣安东尼奥, TX, and is a dual-degree student in Business Administration (with a concentration in Marketing) and Communication. In his role as President, 丹尼 represents SGA’s interests and opinions to the students, 政府, 和老师, manages the operations of SGA, and oversees projects and initiatives undertaken by SGA. SGA之外, you will find 丹尼 giving tours, being involved in various clubs on campus, or having fun with friends in his hometown.

Dr. Shari Becker Albright is the president of the Charles Butt Foundation, formerly the Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation, whose mission is pursuing a more equitable and prosperous future for all Texans through education and community partnerships. 以前, she served as the Murchison Distinguished Professor of Practice in Education and Chair of the Department of Education at 赌博娱乐平台网址大全.
目前, she also serves as the Secretary of the municipal board for Pre K 4 SA, a 圣安东尼奥 early childhood initiative, and is a board member of the CAST Network of local career-themed high schools. She is also a member of the Governing Board of the Holdsworth Center, a statewide educational leadership center, and serves on the executive board of the 圣安东尼奥 ISD Education Foundation. 另外, she supports through board membership Early Matters – 圣安东尼奥 and the UP Partnership.
Shari earned her bachelor’s degree in education in 1983 and master’s degree in school psychology in 1986 from 赌博娱乐平台网址大全. She earned a doctorate in educational leadership from Teachers College – Columbia University.
